New HCL DX Cloud-Native 9.5 Bundle with User Session Pricing
A new cloud-friendly subscription pricing model and download is available for HCL Digital Experience. (aka HCL DX or WebSphere Portal)
HCL Digital Experience v9.5 Cloud Native is a subscription pricing approach that aligns with cloud vendor consumption pricing practices. It considerably simplifies how customers license HCL DX 9.5 software for development, test and production, enables more predictable costs and easier consumption reporting.
Replacement of Document Conversion Services component in HCL DX
The existing Document Conversion Service capabilities in HCL Digital Experience (aka HCL DX or WebSphere Portal) that enable documents produced by standard applications such as spreadsheets or documents to be viewed as HTML pages or parsed for search indexing.
Effective with the CF205 release, HCL will remove the third-party component providing these capabilities, supplied by Oracle, and replace with HCL supported functions as outlined below.
After that point, HCL Digital Experience v8.5, v9 and v9.5 Container Update and CF releases will include the newer HCL supported component.
